A social satire in which a guy realizes he would have a better life if he were to shrink himself.
When scientists find a way to shrink humans to five inches tall, Paul Safrane and his wife Audrey decide to ditch their stressed out lives in order to get small and live large in a luxurious downsized community. Filled with life-changing adventures and endless possibilities, Leisureland offers more than riches, as Paul discovers a whole new world and realizes that we are meant for something bigger.

Stupid movie. It is to bad Kristen Wiig was in it. I'm sure it looked interesting to her. Maybe on paper but... NOT in the film. (I just love Kristen Wiig!)

Clever, imaginative and thought provoking, you merely need a human heart and soul to enjoy this charming movie. BRILLIANT.

Watched the first 30 mins waiting for it to grab us or lead us into a story we'd actually care about... skipped to the last 10 mins to see what they were getting at. Neat concept, bad boring movie.

I see there's a landslide of requests for this BOMB! Pity.

Have to laugh when reading comments. Everyone is different so it is interesting to see different perceptions of this movie. I did not find it a bit environmentalistic, but rather materialistic. What were the main reasons of people undergoing downsizing? Saving the planet? You made me laugh.
Anyway, the movie is boring and I cannot believe I watched it till the end. But I did. It broke in the middle when it seized my attention but then again it went downhill. Expected comedy, but this is not. Try to watch something different (like the underestimated movie the Labyrinth of lies- at least it followed a significant historical event).

Utterly horrid racist stereotyping, had to turn it off halfway through.

If you go in thinking this is a comedy you will definitely be disappointed.
If you go in thinking this is NOT a comedy you may still be disappointed.
It is about love and loss and regrets with some global warming and sci-fi stuff mixed in.
The whole plot device of shrinking people is, essentially, an unnecessary gimmick.

Not a comedy. Not really a drama. No action. If you are an environmentalist, you might find it pleasant, if you don't believe in traumatic global climate change, you'll find it annoying. I had very high hopes for this movie. They were dashed by the preachy plot and stereotyped casting.

I liked it. More of a film about humanities failings with some funny sides. Love the cast! Good for general audiences 12 and up.

Beware of false advertising. This is not a comedy and I wonder if the folks who crafted the previews even saw the movie. The premise of shrinking is engaging for about 10 minutes, which is about as long as the movie was remotely enjoyable. Do yourself a favor and watch “I, Tonya” instead. It’s a hoot.
