What a delightful book! Aside from answering the age-old question of what to do with all of that zucchini, this book celebrates gardening and the potential community-building aspects of gardening. I appreciated how supportive Zora's family was of her efforts, and the diversity of the characters in the book.

Zora has too many zucchini growing in her garden so she involves the neighbors in a vegetable swap. Children can share this idea with their parents who have gardens. They will enjoy the colorful pictures in this book.
