Wow! Who knew that a single hagfish could create buckets of slime to protect itself? Or that wombats poop cubes? Or what a tardigrade even is? If you know someone who craves this type of information (in my case, a first grade boy), they are gonna love this book.

The hair on a sloth curves in the opposite direction of most other mammals: from the stomach to the back. Clearly, this is a mohawk waiting to happen.
