"In this fantastical thriller, five young teens tapped as models for theme park "guides" find themselves pitted against Disney villains and witches that threaten both the future of Walt Disney World and the stability of the world outside its walls. Using a cutting-edge technology called DHI--which stands for both Disney Host Interactive and Daylight Hologram Imaging--Finn Whitman, an Orlando teen, and four other kids are transformed into hologram projections that guide guests through the park. The new technology turns out, however, to have unexpected effects that are both thrilling and scary. Soon Finn finds himself transported in his DHI form into the Magic Kingdom at night. Is it real? Is he dreaming? Finn's confusion only increases when he encounters Wayne, an elderly Imagineer who tells him that the park is in grave danger. Led by the scheming witch, Maleficent, a mysterious group of characters called the Overtakers is plotting to destroy Disney's beloved realm, and maybe more. This gripping high-tech tale will thrill every kid who has ever dreamed of sneaking into Walt Disney World after hours and wondered what happens at night, when the park is closed"--Publishers description.

I LOVE THIS SERIES!!! I read Kingdom Keepers when I was in fifth grade. I thought that there were only two books. Turns out there are so many more. I immediately fell in love with it and have been ever since. This is my second time reading it so I can be all caught up for the new RETURN series. I would totally recommend this to anyone who is a fantasy and Disney Fan. I love it!

Dark Passage, written by Ridley Pearson is the sixth installment in his series, Kingdom Keepers. Following the events from Shell Game, there is a new atmosphere surrounding the characters as they grow up around the hectic events that link them to the world famous company, Disney. Although, I do believe that this series is very prolonged and that some scenes within the book can seem very lack lustre, there is definite potential in each book. The major events in this book help keep readers on their toes as a huge twist develops catching on to the emotions of all the characters and readers. The author truly captures your attention and persuades you to read the next book, eagerly waiting. Overall, I would give this book a 4/5 stars, just for the ability to grab your attention and not let go.

Disney After Dark, written by Ridley Pearson is the first book in his series, Kingdom Keepers. The whole concept of this series relies on the question, have you ever wondered what happens at Disney World after dark? The book follows Finn Whitman and his friends, who are all connected in the most unexpected way. Living in Florida, Finn is just another teenager trying to find a job, but when he lands a job at Disney World, he gets a whole lot more than he expected. His job is to record himself as a virtual host, a DHI, Disney Host Interactive or Daylight Hologram Imaging. However, Finn and his friends don’t expect to wake up in the park as their holograms in Disney World after it closes at night, they also don’t expect to see the heroes and villains at Disney World to come to life. Overall, the whole concept is perfect for any Disney lover as their dreams come true in one book, where you can celebrate your childhood, while being entertained. I give this book a 4/5 stars, as I do see a lack of character development, but I see that this will change as the series continues.

In this book Finn and four other normal teenagers are chosen as characters for something new at the magic kingdom. But that night they have a dream and everything changes. Things at the magic kingdom are going hectic. They learn that they have to find the different clues and put then together before Disneyland is destroyed. They go on epic missions and are almost killed in each one. Together they have to fight the forces of evil and stop Maleficent and the Overtakers from taking over Disneyland.
