This is the first (non-Shakespearean) play that I've ever read. It was a fun experience. I actually read the whole thing out loud, acting out each part. It was a good time. I started out just trying to read the text, but soon realized it needed to be spoken, and I'm glad I switched. I'm currently taking David Mamet's online MasterClass, so I'm glad I read this as it gave me some more insight to his process. The play is incredibly vulgar, but entertaining. I bet it makes for a great show.
