It was my impression from his autobiography that Franklin was a man of superior character. Much can be learned from his navigation of several events in his life--many in his early years.
Franklin was a man who seemed to be addicted to learning--the thrill of gaining knowledge on many subjects from business, to languages, to science to politics. He seemed to embrace the challenge of self improvement as well as doing what he could for the improvement of society as a whole.

He was a successful entrepreneur and problem solver with an exceptional eye for how the current process-- of all his interests, could be improved, and the steps involved in these upgraded processes. In my opinion it was this, along with his ability to get along with many different personality types, treating them with respect and dignity that helped in his becoming a highly sought after and wealthy man, as well as one of our most prominent founding fathers. Recommended.
