I found this to be very interesting. At times it came close to being too technical (not technology-technical but rather psychology-technical). However, for the most part it was comprehensible to the lay-person who has a basic understanding of psychology but no degree in that field. Again, it was very interesting information, but I’m not sure what I can do with it in my day-to-day.
This is a relatively short book but it is dense with information concerning our increasingly complex world, the demands it puts upon our working memory, concentration and problem solving ability, and the stress that the overload creates. Without pat answers, the author sees ways that could lead to better results by taking into account the realities of our Stone Age brain.
